Friends or Family?

Once a month I meet some friends for coffee and breakfast. I worked with them for 15 years. You know how it is when you are with people every day for 15 years, they kind of become like family? Well, that's these people...

And I knew it was going to be a fun morning when I walked in and saw Susie eating and drinking THIS!

OMG! You are talking about a person that squeezes a lemon for the juice, puts it on a salad and calls it dressing! Notice the pastry is cut into five pieces? One for all of us. Sweet. And did I mention, it was her birthday? I have no idea how old she is....I just know that she's older than me!!!

And Marcia!!! Well, she's older than me too, but she doesn't act like it!!!!

Remember the resolution that I was going to be more giving? Well, I made them all a cotton heart to use as a coaster. But Cheryl thought it would be better used as a neck warmer. Lordy Bee! I've known Cheryl since first grade.

The whole fam damily! Cecilia, Susie, Cheryl, and Marcia.

Love,

Cindy

  5. Dear Cindy,

I was particularly pleased to see that they all chose 'respectable in public' body parts on which to place their little hearts...
