A tisket a tasket
a green & yellow basket,
I wrote a letter to my love
and on the way I lost it,
I lost it and on the way I lost it....
Yup Pammy Sue, I remember it....i think that's it, isn't it?
It's been a looong time.
And I'm feeling a bit cheeky today, so I'm going to show you a couple of things that made me laugh, even though I probably shouldn't!
Sweet dogs snuggling up for a nap
Watch closely
Cindy~ I am cracking up!!!
ReplyDeleteThe dog picture I can sooooo relate too! We have 3 dogs, 3 cats. That would be typical here.
The nursery rhyme: I remember it different:
on the way I dropped it.
I dropped it,
I dropped it,
And on the way I dropped it.
A little boy he picked it up and put it in his pocket.
Ella Fitzgerald sang a long version back in the late 30's. I remember (im not that old but I love Ella songs) hearing it and its playing in my head now. Its titled "I found my Yellow Basket"
Your sausage... looks, uhm, interesting... I think I will pass. :)
thanks for the giggles!
Yikes Cindy, Those sausages look like..ummmm....pooh. Maybe it's because the Queen has brought fecal matter to my mind today..
ReplyDeleteYour K-9's are cute, cute, cute.
Ok Janis - I stand corrected, but it has been about 45 years since I've sang it and I'm guessing he probably lost it, if he did indeed drop it! Thank you for the title, I think I'll look it up and listen to it. It's going around in my head too.
ReplyDeleteDebbie M - Funny thing - the Queens post reminded me of that summer sausage I made a couple of weeks ago! You think she had mustard seeds for dinner that night? That's what those dots are. If I were a bettin' woman, I'd bet she probably did some silly such thing as eat a whole dad-gum bloomin' onion or something!
My dogs are cute, aren't they?
Cindy

What would Martha say?...
ReplyDeleteI really don't have...
ReplyDeleteany...
words...
ouch.
I mean......really.............
ReplyDeleteMustard Seeds Queen - they were mustard seeds. I KNOW that's what they look like, which is why I cannot even take a bite. Truth is, after I posted it last night, my stomach got a tad queazy. Martha would say, "umm, It's a BAD thing."
ReplyDeleteCindy Bee
PS - I didn't know you could remove your own comment. sigh...so much to learn. And when you figure it out, you're already behind when it comes to technology. I saw on Martha yesterday the latest and greatest in technology.
I'm sitting here reading the comments and just laughing away. Your dogs are too cute...the sausage, at this point after the comments, is questionable.......
ReplyDeleteOh I missed the fun! Always late for the party. huh. Won't comment on the sausages then other than to say, "wow..." with a question mark after it. wow?
ReplyDeleteLoved the dog pics, Cindy. It looks like they are really getting along--even if on opposite ends of the couch. Mine are still establishing who is the boss of who.
Can I tell you how much I love that picture of your Dad in the birthday hat. Love it! What a sport! Happy Birthday, Cindy's Dad!!!
Oh, Oh, Oh! Forgot to say--your header banner looks great!
ReplyDeleteThe dogs are so sweet! The sausages, I am sure looks can be deceiving. Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteThe puppies are so so cute!
ReplyDeleteNo comments on that other crazieness... ;)
