In my blog I plan to chat about nature, crafts, baking, gardening, beekeeping, family, and whatever else seems appropriate at the time. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Cee Lew

When I first discovered blogs, I made a list of my faves, and would check them whenever I had time to sit at the computer for a spell. I wanted a blog of my own, but I had dial-up internet connection, and didn't know if I could do it. One time a blogger was having a dishcloth making challenge, and another blogger by the name of Cee Lew joined the challenge. I e-mailed Cee with a question for a pattern she posted. It's the blue dishcloth. Anyway I told her in the e-mail that I'd like to have a blog, but ....blah blah blah. She encouraged me to open one. She mentioned that she had dial-up when she first started blogging. And one day I just went to my computer with no planning to do so, and opened a blog. Just like that. No planning, but with encouragement from Cee. It has changed my life. I've met wonderful, funny, caring people that I would never have met without a blog. Now Cee needs encouraged, only in a much more serious way. Not long after having a baby her family planned on moving. They live in Australia. And ever since that move, her family has been in turmoil with no place to live. Bloggers are some of the nicest people I have 'met.' I was thinking if we could encourage her, and help her out, simply by posting her plight, maybe someone in Australia would be able to help her and her family find a place to live. Please link up to her blog if you can, and maybe someone will see her blog and be able to help her and her family. You never know...stranger things have happened. Thanks Bloggers, Cindy Bee

  1. That's so sad. But sometimes you just have to believe that these things happen for a reason, maybe because something amazing is going to come along. I have a lot of Australian FB folks on my page so I linked her blog up and asked if anyone knows of someplace for her and her family.Don't know if it will help...but you never know, greater things have happened!

  2. Thanks Cindy. We do believe these things happen for a reason. We are still just waiting to discover that. Our main concern at the moment is that we are not free to go and find a long term lease on a property due to our legal situation and short term leases of a reasonable value are a rare commodity.

  3. I believe everything happens for a reason too, and I'm hoping the reason is that there is something better waiting on you. I learned, when I read the book Eat, Pray, Love, that buying a house in other countries is much different than in the United States.
