Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

About three weeks ago, BOHO Farm (Caroline - who always looks perfect even when she is working in her garden! She doesn't sweat. I asked her. She says she does...but just look at her...she doesn't. ) Anyway...Caroline was having a Ramsign giveaway. I thought it would look nice on our new home, so I entered her giveaway. I won! I WON!!!! I am so excited to get the sign. I made a mistake ordering so it was delayed a bit. I will show it to you when I get it. In the meantime, check out Caroline's blog. Her most current post is just heartbreaking. She went away for a few days and her husband forgot to water the garden. She lives in the desert.

Then, last week, I entered another giveaway. Hooking it (crocheting) with Mr. Lick Lick (Leo-who looks something like my Dixie but with short hair) was giving away some crochet books. Can you believe I won again! I did. And I got the book in the mail while I was gone. Not only did I get the book, but she threw in a little crocheted key ring too. Sweet. I am going to try to make some of these itty bitty animals when I get a little more knowledgeable in crocheting. They look fun. Click on her blog to see all the free yarn she was just given. What a haul!

Thank you so much to both of you.
This is the fourth time I've won blog giveaways! It is. And I never win anything! So, if you think you want something that is being given away, sign up, give it a go! You just never know.

We're back home. We went to Brown County State Park the last couple of days. It was beautiful. I'll show some pics this week. Orange, yellow, and red trees, deer, log cabins, vans with room size air conditioners sticking out the window! I'm serious.

Today I spent the day taking supers off of hives, sweating horribly (I wish Caroline would show me how she does it) getting bees ready for winter, and getting ready to extract more honey. I will probably be doing this for the next three days. No make-up, hot, stinky, sweaty work. I had to quit today because my bees were MAD!

I'm going on with the Lucy bag. She said I should!
