In my blog I plan to chat about nature, crafts, baking, gardening, beekeeping, family, and whatever else seems appropriate at the time. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

We Care Park & Advent Calendar

After touring the mansion we went to The We Care Park.
This is actually in the back yards of a neighborhood, with an alley going down the middle.  You would think you were in the middle of the country.
It's huge

And if you've been following me for any length of time, you know I take my nieces to this every year.  The 15 year old decided not to go this year, but she ended up spending the weekend with my parents (her Grandparents).  And my Great Niece couldn't make it either.

You can drive through or walk through.
We always walk because when you do, you get to pick out a toy from the rotating Christmas tree and get some hot chocolate.

You can see the tree is very popular, and it took them a long time to pick a toy this year.

This pic is a tradition too.  I need to get them all printed off and put together over the years.

Then when we got home, the girls commenced making gingerbread houses.  I had bought one house, thinking they could make it, and my sister could use it on Christmas Day to decorate the 'kids' table.  But no, they had to have their own.  Well, one of them already came put together and all you had to do was decorate it.  The other one had to be put together.  Blogettes, I'm telling you now, buy the one already put together!

Adorable huh?
Yesterday was my last Advent gift, except for the finale'!  It's in a shoe box.  hmmmm....think I got some new Nike's?  Probably not.  I'm guessing she had a shoe box handy.....
I will post tomorrow.  I have also received a very wonderful story in the advent calendar that I want to share with you.  I'm waiting for the last day.
Tonight family will be over for games.  Busy days ahead.
So, Merry Christmas to you all.  I hope you have a wonderful Christmas celebration, and remember the reason for the season.

Peace,
Cindy Bee
