Oliver Winery

My Shug and I are on our annual get away to Brown County/Nashville, Indiana.  It is such a popular place in the fall, you have to make reservations a year in advance.  We've already made them for next year.  We've been coming here for years.  We stopped at Oliver Winery on the way here and I thought you might enjoy some pictures of it.  It's the oldest and largest winery in Indiana.

We did a little bit of tasting.
Mom & Dad are staying in our basement, watching the boys.  Wish them luck.
Here they are watching us leave.  (sniff sniff- so cute)
By the way - TAA DAAAA!!!   Just look at that clean table, will ya!

  1. Do you go Flea Marketing at the Covered Bridge festival while you are there? I used to come down one of the weekends and spend a day at the flea markets with my siblings. Been a long time. Hope you are having a great time!

  2. Hi Brenda,

We go to garage sales and some antique stores while we are here, but not flea markets. I think the covered bridge festival is over. We also do some shopping in Nashville. Fun town. I'll take some pics.

  3. Actually the Covered Bridge festival starts in a few days...the Great Scot dreads this time of year since his route to work takes him right through the thick of things, adding nearly an hour to his trip there. (It generally only takes about 30 minutes any other time of year.)

    1. Well that tells you what I know about it! I've been to the covered bridge festival one time. And I really did think it was already over. Thanks for setting us all straight. Sorry about the Great Scot's commute.

    1. I was doubly inspired! Went to another one today. They have several down here. And most are not as fancy as Oliver Winery. It's probably the fanciest. My Dad is usually pretty laid back and easy to please. I love the clean table too. I seriously wish I had more time to do so. BTW, I took a picture especially for you today, but as you saw on my latest post, I forgot my camera. I'll post it later.
