Happy 4th of July!!!



HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!


Sadly, many of our fireworks have been canceled due to the drought. They are too afraid of fires. We were going to go to Conner Prairie last night, but the heat is so oppressive. It's been in the 90's and 100's. I love laying in bed at night with the windows open during this time of year listening to the boom....Boom.....BOOOM of the fireworks. It usually goes on for the week before and the week after July 4th. Not this year. But we do still have our freedom and our country. So Happy 4th of July!

    So true Cindy:::I would rather have the ban than know some idiot was careless and someone lost their homes or lives cause of it:::IT is soo dry in areas that it would only take a little spark
    so let us be grateful for what we have:::instead of what we can't do!
