We thought, at first, it looked like a tornado.
Whatever it was it was moving very fast and coming right at us. She was driving fast trying to get to our house, where we were going to run inside and take shelter.
When she turned down the street I live on, there were a lot of big trees swaying, and we started praying we'd make it safe with no trees falling on the car.
By the time we got to my house, which was probably five minutes away, it came and went, in about two minutes! That fast.
It was just a lot of hard, fast rain.
Later in the day, we got a beautiful cloud show. I tried to take pics, but it was hard because I was driving. We did not get any rain out of this though.
Lots of thunder, but no rain.
The clouds were moving very fast. Some of them looked like they were bumping into each other.
I just thought you might enjoy the show in the sky.
Thank you so much for all of your quick food ideas. I'm going to re-read them and give some of them a try.
Also, for those of you who live around here, there is a wonderful garden show you should go see. It's a free tour and she has even been featured in Better Homes and Garden magazine. Her name is Patti Beck and her address is 6277 N. 400 W. Sharpsville, IN 46068. It's from 9 - 5 today and she also has a pottery studio. If you went to the French Flea Market, you saw her there selling her garden pottery (Santa's, fairies, wind chimes, garden markers, etc.) Don't know if I'll have time to go there, I'm gonna try.

ReplyDeleteCindy, The market is at Tipton, by the jewelry store. If you have things to sell, that you have made...go to the Tipton chamber of commerce, they will set you up to come sell your wares. No charge. I wanted to go to Patti Beck's today...but I had too many things to do after the market. I hope she has another open house or tour . xo, Susie

ReplyDeleteYour pics turned out better than mine. Ya it was in and out quick we were on the front porch when the storm came Rollin in we heard the rain comin from 2streets away was crazy and the wind it was bad too. Crazy
