Dogs Part III

So, I went to the dog trainer lady today at the Pet Store. I did not take the dogs. I have to bring them back next week. Apparently, they don't respect me.

The dogs I mean. Who would have guessed it?

They damn well better start, or they can find someone else to respect.

That's just the mood I'm in right now.

I take them back next week. For training. It's free. I'm going.

Anybody else need dog training, bring your dog and join me.

Saturday 1:00 - 3:00.

  2. Hello Cindy Bee,
Wow,wow, wow,I am sorry, I've been busy and haven't visited your blog for a while.
And I found your doggy issue.
You know that I am SUPER DOGGY LOVER, that's why I really understand your pain.
I have Momo and Koume, both they are female. so .... a little different from your case. and many friends already gave you some advice. Going to training, that is great idea. Good luck for their training next time.
But IF it would not work well, they might need more time to learn it. It depends on any dogs personality, some dogs are quick to learn, some are not.
My dogs make messy with trash bag if i leave trash box they can reach....when I am go out.
Especially when they stayed at home without me, of course...their attitude....they wanted to go out with me ... I think.
There is a something reason what they do....I am telling myself, find a reason why they want to do that. And when I could not know the reason why, just I repeated command and teach them many times that do not do that ...repeated, repeated, and repeated...
I know you do not like it what they did...it is very difficult. but please do not give up and just keep going to train them.
Dogs want to stay in touch with owners as much as possible. Maybe like you said they jealous each other and it makes that behavior...sometimes.

Your dogs look SO CUTE ---- ♪♪♪
Hope they will learn from the training and everything will work for ALL OF YOU ...♪

OK, I want you and everyone to know next promises between owner and dog.
Somebody made it....and it always makes me cry...

    Good luck, Cindy Bee...♪ p(^o^)q"""

(( The Ten Commandments of Dog Ownership ))

1.My life is likely to last ten to fifteen years. Any separation from you will be painful for me. Remember that before you get alone with me.
2.Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3.Place your trust in me- it's crucial to my Well-being.
4.Don't be angry at me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your entertainment and your friends. I have only you.
5.Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I understand your voice when it's speaking to me.
6.Be aware that however you treat me, I'll never forget it.
7.Remember before you hit me that l have teeth that could easily crush the bones of your hand but that I choose not to bite you.
8.Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinate, or lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food or I've been out in the sun too long or my heart is getting old and weak.
9.Take care of me when I get old ; you, too, will grow old.
10.Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, "I can't bear to watch it ." or " Let it happen in my absence." Everything is easier for me if you are there. Remember I love you.

  3. Koala, Loved those 10 commandments...nice reminder

Cindy, yes training is a good idea - in general. Are you going to take both at the same time? That would be a challenge.

ANY of Cesar Milan books would be good to get. He always says the same thing.
"Exercise, Discipline, THEN affection" I know your dogs are treated like family and loved and loved some more. So you may have to work on the other 2 things. Then need a pack leader and that has to be you.

Believe me, I'm no expert and my hound is damn good - we don't really have any major issues. Of course peeing inside is a major issue so training and learning on both ends will help.

Keep us in the loop. Take a walk with one of them, then the other, throw the ball and reward. I know it's goofy because they should be able to entertain themselves....but they really want to be with us.

Just yesterday we had Quincey and Violet and they would play ring and run. I would just laugh and say you guys play with each other - you don't need me. But once I got out there they went wild and chasing each other, threw the ball and I saw panting tongues - Mission accomplished...And then their tongues were out (hahaha)
