In my blog I plan to chat about nature, crafts, baking, gardening, beekeeping, family, and whatever else seems appropriate at the time. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Come one, Come all!

Hey Blogettes...I want to let you know about a great event in Kokomo this weekend.
It's called the
WINTER WOOLEN WORKSHOP
and if you like crafty stuff of any kind, you need to find a way to get to
Kokomo, IN.
It's held in two of our mansions,
which happen to be side by side, so you can walk back and forth.
So here is the Who, What, When, Where, and Why of it all.
Who - There will be groups, organizations, associations, guilds, whatever you want to call them. If they sew, knit, crochet, spin, weave, paint, quilt, etc., then those people will be there just doing their thing. You can join them, chat with them, ask questions or learn their craft. There were also be vendors selling items to do these crafts, such as wool, yarn, material. Or if you want to purchase an item already done, those vendors will be there too.
There will be classes you can sign up to take as well.
What - Winter Woolen Workshop - I already told you that!
When - Saturday, February 26, 9 - 6 and
Sunday, February 27, 11-5
Where - Elliot House and Seiberling Mansion,
both on West Sycamore Street in Kokomo, IN
Why - Because women like to get together, share, and bond.
There is a $10.00 entry fee which will get you in for both days,
and that money is donated to the Historical Society.
And if you want to, you can bring a project from home and sit and work on it.

  1. I might just have to pull Kokomo into my GPS. This sounds like too much fun. Are you meeting up with QOW and TH.... By the way, we need a short cut name for you too.....

    Off to boop around,

  2. It is too much fun. The Queen reluctantly said she'd try to show up, TH has to work. TH's Mom is heavily involved in this event and it is a fun, fun time. You'd want to stay the entire day. Bring some of your crocheting...maybe that blankey...and talk the Queen into spending the day too.

How about C.B. for Cindy Bee. Would that help?

  5. Wow! CB you are one busy lady! I'm just buzzing through with a little catch up on your world. Glad to see you are all better and I hope the bees will be ok too. Thanks for your gracious post about Posy Linda. You are the best!

  6. I had forgotten you had told me about this months ago. Unfortunately a trip is not happening right now. My car heat problem is still a problem. No heat half of the time. I am getting to ride with a few of my friends on a little road trip to visit a quilt shop we have gone to before though. In a nice warm car...woo hoo! You have a great time and take a lot of pictures to share with all of us that cannot be there! Have fun!

  7. OK - when I woke up in the middle of the night, I decided i can't like CB. Just change it to Bee if you must! That's what the Queen and TH call me sometimes anyway :)

Please check the weather if you decide to come GB. They are talking of ice and snow Friday night/Saturday morning. Oh Jeez I hope we have another winter storm, it's been four whole days since we've had one! You know I'm being sarcastic.
