In my blog I plan to chat about nature, crafts, baking, gardening, beekeeping, family, and whatever else seems appropriate at the time. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

One of those days.....

Sometimes...when you have one of those days... you just gotta make your own happiness.
Amongst other things, my skin Doctor decided to burn off three places on my skin. Ouch. Then, after dropping off some paperwork at my MIL, I decided to nurse a headache with....

COFFEE (not a latte') and a donut.
Then I decided to walk over to the nearby strip mall. I needed to ask AT&T a question about my phone. While I was walking by Pier 1 Imports, I saw this wine glass.

I walked right in and purchased it. Then....I had to pick up some other items at Target. And I saw this "picnic basket." Only I think....yarn....cotton yarn....my lovely cotton yarn that I enjoy spending time with, and never have quite found just the right basket for it.
Perfect!

Then my Shug calls and tells me he is making dinner! WTH? Really? Yup!

YUM. (well almost. I didn't care much for these stuffed mushrooms)

And now, I must go sit...crochet....

and just as I suspected....red is the perfect color to go behind the flowers on this wine glass.

Happy Monday folks!

  1. Hope your headaches gone. I have had those spots removed a few times. Farming and spots seem to go together.
Nice that you had a nice meal made for you looks good.
Love the glass and your funky coloured crochet.
    Feel better. Hug B

  2. I love stuffed shrooms! Hope you feel better! It's no wonder you have a headache with all you have to do. Sometimes you just have to stop and regroup. Or is that recoup. :o)

  5. Cindy, You seem on the run a lot. I can understand the headache. I hate to have headaches, especially when I have a ton of stuff to do. I could have gotten one today...but I left home to walk with my sister Pam. I'll do my housework tomorrow morning :):) How are the bees doing? Smiles, Susie(She Junks)

  6. I adore your progressive shopping trip! It's the way I like to shop, stuff just kinda speaks to me! My absolute favorite red is 47 lb. rooster, Rex Goliath, their cabernet, is excellent! I can buy it for under 6 dollars a bottle but at my favorite restaurant sells it for 7 dollars a glass! We are going to get a bunny, never thought about a duck but I cannot wait till I retire and we move to "the woods"!
