It's official....
WHITE is my LEAST favorite color!
This is inside looking out of the room we are living in....
Early in the morning...yesterday
And this was taken later in the day. The snow just kept on coming...
See that table.
It wants people sitting around it,
drinking wine, or beer,
telling stories,
eating yummy meals cooked on the grill,
laughing,
enjoying the warm evenings and the summer breezes.
That fire pit...it wants a FIRE, not snow!
(Ooohh Looord it wants a faarrrr)
And this lounge chair wants a person to lounge in it...
And this pond is begging for kids to swim and play in it.
I hear the laughter now.
(this will be our view when we get moved upstairs)
These chairs, on the porch, are begging for stories....
friends and family, sipping lemonade and iced tea.
This woods has berries that need ripened and picked...
And animals that are ready for the warmth of spring, so their babies can be born and life can go on
Coral Belle, she wants a face lift, and happy people inside...
She just told me the other day she is tired of sitting in the driveway...(beside wrecked car)
She can't wait to be home in her bee yard, and I know JUST how she feels!
Yup...it's official...white is my least favorite color.
I love Red though!

I whole-heartedly agree with you Cindy! It's spring and it's definitely time for some sunshine. You have a lovely plot of land there - can't wait to see the photos when you do get to live outside more.
ReplyDeleteThanks Fiona. We do have a lovely plot of land. We are blessed. Hey it was sunny today! Woohoo!

Great post Cindy! I'm feeling the same way right now. Its all my fault we can't seem to get rid of winter. I had a large, super fabulous patio poured in the fall. I got to have one meal on it before it got too cold. So, of course I am just dying to get out there and start my landscaping of the backyard and enjoy that awesome patio that I've waited 4 years to have done. And because of my awesome patio and my strong desire to use it......winter will not go away! ;)
ReplyDeleteHey Erin..right? How have you been? Why haven't you been blogging? Nice to see you again! OK so you are to blame. Well girl...don't make me come down there and rip out that patio...cause I'm just tired enough of this winter weather to do it!

It is actually sunny here today...there IS hope!

Totally agree with you! I only hope we're all compensated with a longer spring season that robs summer! LOL
ReplyDeleteI hear ya...I feel the same way.

I'm with you and would love to be in one of those chairs sharing a glass of wine with you and listening to your stories.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that last shot!
Well Jill, come on over...when the weather is warmer, and we'll have a glass of wine and some gossip!

And green, I love green!
ReplyDeleteI love green too. Green grass, green leaves, green stems....I'm ready to see green!

ReplyDeleteHi Birgit,
DeleteI am sure you have had a rough winter all the way around. I want some sun too. It's good for the soul.

Cindy, I bet you dream about sitting around that table on the deck with a glass of wine! It won't be long and we will be feeling that warm sun on our faces. I don't even mind the cold if I can just have some sunshine! Have a blessed Easter!
ReplyDeleteAmen sister!!! All that snow was ridiculous so over it...the pics are beautiful though.
