I just posted Happy Thanksgiving, started to close up the computer, and I got to thinking...
I was thinking about last year...
on this night...
my Shug was working and I was in the basement where we were living,
in one room...
and this happened.
My persimmon pudding pan exploded.
You can read about it here.
This was pretty much my kitchen, except for the one foot of counter space beside the sink that you cannot see.
This is my kitchen now! Part of it anyway. And this is an old picture, when everything was new and neat. Right now it's a mess because I've been baking.
I am thankful I have a full kitchen, I'm not living in the basement anymore, and I'll be getting together with family and friends tomorrow.
However you plan on spending tomorrow,
I wish you all a

SO....I look up and I'm thinking......
Why in thee world would I set the corn pudding on top of the stove while the persimmon pudding is baking!
Old habits die hard I guess!

HAPPY
THANKSGIVING!
Isn't it wonderful how things and circumstances can change so quickly? I always think along the lines of 'what was I worrying about this time last year?' And 9 times out of 10 I can't remember, which brings me great comfort. But you can remember what happened this time last year, but my goodness, things are certainly different now. So whatever our 'coping mechanism' it works, doesn't it? And you have a stunning kitchen, so I hope you will enjoy it to the full this Thanksgiving. Blessings to you and all your family.
