Pretty - Ugly!

I thought I'd show you a few more pictures of the snow and ice this week.  We had some freezing rain, then snow on top of that.  It makes pretty scenery.  See the cardinals?

But the 1 degree temps, and these roads, make me kinda grumpy!  They are pure ice, and they would be the roads I drive on to get to town.
Pretty!

Ugly

Pretty
Ugly (this is our truck, stuck in the driveway, while hauling a piece of cabinetry for the house)
 Pretty

Ugly (the actual picture isn't ugly, but my Shug had to get the tractor out to get the truck un-stuck, which was ugly)
 Pretty

The truck is sitting at the end of the driveway because, even though it is unstuck, it cannot make it up our slick driveway.  So, I'm saying....

I'll leave you with some pretties, because this is the last time I will be talking about the snow and ice.  I'm over it peeps......D.O.N.E. already....

And to top it off....I'm TRYING to get a cold/flu kind of thing.

I'm fighting it though.....stayed in most of the week....'cept for a couple of times.

Which I will tell you about tomorrow.

But the good news is this!!!!!  WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!!  I won a drawing on Connie's blog.  I told you a couple of weeks ago to go there.  GOOO!  It's not too late!

  1. Pictures of snow can be pretty, but the complications it causes are definitely UGLY! Keep warm, and stay safe.

  2. Cindy, Those road pictures look bad. I like how much the snow has melted the past couple days. I like this break in winter. Hope we don't pay for it later. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  3. Pretty pictures when you don't have to put up with it! lol... We had our share last year so I know how frustrating it can get! Hope things warm up and melt soon!
