Artsy-Craftsy

After all the hobnobbing, flea marketing, and quaint town visiting in the last couple of weeks, I'm on artsy-crafty overload.  So I thought I would share a few things I have made in the last couple of months.  First up, this Dottie Angel High Hopes Wrap.
I had 'high hopes' I could join it together the way she did, and after much finagling, I finally did it.
But then when it came time to attach the aqua to the brown....I had to finagle again!
And I finally got it figured out again...
Then when I got to the very end, except for about 15 double crochet stitches, I ran out of yarn!
This is chunky yarn.  So I went to my stash, and got something as close to the color that I had, I doubled it so it would be chunky, and I finished it off.  Phew....so far, everyone I've showed it to, hasn't noticed.  Now, everyone knows!

Now in this picture....I have no idea why the green looks like two different shades of green because it isn't.  Odd.
Anyway, I added the doily and the button....

And somewhere around here I have a big shawl pin, but who knows where it is because I sure don't!  So I used a knitting stitch holder....works perfect!
And it's light-weight.  What do you think?  Seriously....about the whole wrap....not just the pin.  It's very cozy.
Have you been doing any creative projects lately?
