Granny square scarf ta da!

I've been working on a scarf for three or four weeks....
 and I finally finished it!

 TADAAAAA!
It's very long.  I made it that way on purpose.  This time of year, I like to wear scarves, hat, and handwarmers, and sweaters, but not a coat.
This scarf will wrap around several times.
Or you can do all kinds of fun wraps with it.

I also made this hunting hat so I could sit in my husband's tree stand
and take pictures of wildlife.  I sat there one time and was cold and the seat was hard and I lasted about 45 minutes.  He said it was about 40 minutes longer than he thought I'd last!
I think I'll go now....if I see anything cool, I'll show you here!

  1. Cindy, I love all the soft colors you chose. Siting in a tree stand doesn't sound too fun. :):) xoxo,Susie

  2. Oh Cindy I LOVE the scarf it is so pretty. I need and love the hat I need one too but I am still in the knit no purl no dropping stitches stage of knitting maybe I can make one for next year. 40 minutes is pretty good for a amateur:)
I was in the bush for 6 hours on Sunday I don't recommend that. Hey email me your snail mail will you.
I started a Dr. Who scarf that should teach me real fast about knitting as far a challenges go but I am making it Buttons style so we will see. Once you are a knitter everyone wants something:) Hug B

    1. Hey Buttons, I'll make you a slouchy hat. What color do you want? Six Hours! Oh my. It takes me five minutes to walk to the deer stand and my butt can't take more than an hour. Maybe I'll try walking instead of sitting! Now there's an idea. I will e-mail you my snail mail.

    1. I don't wear a coat when it's still in the 50'sF temp. When it gets colder out I do.

  7. I love the colours of your scarf and am full of admiration for your patience at sitting on an uncomfortable seat. Maybe you could make a nice cushion for it? Philippa xx
