And somewhere, or maybe I dreamed it, I saw where they put hexagons together to make a ball.
And I thought...what a cute gift idea for a baby! And my friend, who happens to own a yarn store, just became a Grandmother.
So I started crocheting hexagons, but for the life of me I could NOT find that ball pattern again.
But tonight at crochet...."K" and I figured it out!
Stitch three together, then stitch one hexy on the bottom,
and one partially on the top.
I rolled a rather large bell up in batting...
and I kept rolling it until it was the right size to fit in the ball.Stuff it inside the opening then stitch it closed.
What do you think?
I love it!

(PS. when did you back to using word verification thingy, were you getting spam?)
Hi Fi - Yes, my house blog is getting a lot of SPAM and I can't get it to go away. When I delete a comment, it adds another. SO I thought I'd try this fora while. I hate it, but I don't know what else to do.
