Purple flowers in Italy

Hi Mary. Thanks for your comments on my blog. I didn't know how else to get a hold of you, because your e-mails come through as a noreply and it doesn't appear that you have a blog. So here's your picture, a little closer up. But I have no idea what those flowers are. Does anyone have any idea. They are gorgeous.

  3. Cindy, Those flowers sure make me think of my mom...she loved purple flowers. She would have said"Oh I wish I had those in my yard" :):) Smiles, Susie

  4. They're not Azaleas are they? There's a purple that blooms profusely...what do the leaves of the plant look like? Elongated? Shiny? Smooth edges? Are the flowers in clusters or individual? How many petals on a flower? I have a book that identifies plants by their characteristics...:)JP

  5. Cindy, all of your pictures were beautiful. Did you say if the young buck, who sold the bracelet, gave you the right directions? haha

I love your pix on the side bar too...good idea to keep Rome in your heart daily. I love the one of you tossing the money in the fountain.

Looks like a wonderful trip. You're sister was good to make the plans - yes?

  6. Hey everyone thanks for the comments. I can't answer any questions about those flowers because I took the picture standing in the center of the piazza. I didn't walk over and inspect them. Sorry.

Yes Julie, Theresa did a great job making the plans. I would not have been able to do it.
