Christmas in Downtown Noblesville

On November 6th, Noblesville, IN had their Christmas open houses in their downtown stores.
I know...it's early.  But it was First Friday.  And it was my friend Teresa's birthday so we decided to go.
The first stop was The Corner Cottage, one of my favorite stores there.
The stores picked a Christmas show theme and they had mannequins in the windows.
Well, they were supposed to, but we only saw mannequins at Who-ville.
And, of course we had to go inside Who-Ville to get our picture taken with the Grinch!
Then, I had to take pictures of the Whoville characters, especially since my niece was one of the mannequins!

And my faux' niece was another one!
There were Whoville little peeps everywhere!

I asked this guy (below) to turn around so I could see his face...this is what he did!

This store is Lil' Bloomers and it is a children's botique' store....adorable clothes.

Then we went shopping at Logan Village Mall.  Lots and lots of booths full of new and antique stuff.  And I have to admit, the Christmas windows looked beautiful with all of the Christmas lights and decorations.
Did I mention they had munchies and drinks too!
I love this idea and plan on doing it for Christmas Eve.
Simple yet elegant looking!
A Styrofoam cone wrapped in foil.
Creme puffs dipped in chocolate and stuck to the tree to look like a...
TA DAH!!
TREE!

And there was the jolly man himself....way up high looking over all the shoppers.
It was a fun and enjoyable evening.
Does your town have a quaint downtown area with Christmas celebrations?

  1. Hi Cindy Lou Who... I did not know about Noblesville's Christmas thing. I think Patty, of Patty's Pretty Things , sets up at the Logan Mall. Your niece is a beauty. Hope you are doing well and got those bees settled down. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  3. What a picturesque shopping area . You have so much fun shopping with your friends and family and your niece is beautiful , really.

I might steal that idea for serving sweets too, very simple and seasonal.
