Christmas Fun Festivities!

I was going to connect to Five on Friday with F.A.S.T. Blog but I didn't make it in time.  I had all of the pictures downloaded, but had some technical glitches this weekend.  Since the pictures were downloaded, I'm doing my own Five on Sunday!
The plan was to show you all of the Christmas Fun Festivities I've been up to.

1) Family Reunion
Santa came to our family reunion!
And this little girl followed him right to his seat and wasted no time telling him what she wanted!
And this little girl was very embarrassed to be called up by Santa!
Cousin Vickie's sweet and precious Grand baby!
Cousin Rusty (Vickie's brother!)

And there were some children who just wouldn't sit on his lap no matter what!

Lots of fun family photos with Santa.

Time for the girls gift game.
Lots of family fun with cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

2) Immediate Family @ Clowes (pronounced Klewes...I dunno...weird) Hall for a Charlie Brown musical
How many family members can fit on one elevator!

In attendance....Mom, Dad, Adrienne, Dylan, Me, Dave, Taylor, Sarah, Emily, Theresa, Lorri

The whole family! (That came)
3) Crafting Christmas

I've been crafting for over a month.  You've seen bits and pieces of this if you follow me on Instagram.

Perfect for a present!

A Patty Beck pottery ornament!

I made bunting for the crochet group ladies.
And speaking of the crochet group ladies, this is what they've been working on.

K was making granny squares for a foot stool cover.  She had a lot of the squares finished and decided the yarn wasn't thick enough so she started over!!!

Debbie is making a corner to corner blanket out of an Attic 24 kit.
I'm still working on my seaside afghan.  Something like that. It's a ripple and also an attic 24 kit.
And Cheryl has been whipping up dishcloths!

 4) Entertaining

On December 1st, I had several ladies over for a Noonday Collection show.
So I spent the last week of November decorating and I said I'd show you in the next post, which is this one, but I will show you in the next post!  And obviously you can see some of it here.

These are two ladies I used to work with at Purdue technology.  I had them over for lunch one day last week.

Thursday evening I went to one of my Chata Chicks house.  (Chata Chicks are what we call our little group that is really neighbors that drink wine together!)
And this one drinks Rum Chata

5) Gifting
And I had gifts exchanges with the crochet group,

the Chata Chicks,
and a friend (Marcia) brought over some gifts for me!

What a fun but busy week.

This week I'm planning for Christmas Eve at our house.  But right now, I'm going to go sit down and relax and watch The Sound of Music on TV!

Have a GREAT WEEK everyone!

Cindy

  1. Cindy- What a really wonderful post. I love that you were all able to get together with Santa, etc. My 40something son told me the other day that his most vivid memory of Christmas as a child was when the REAL SANTA came to visit us at home at night and handed out the presents.

I love your group pictures and all the handicrafts you have all been working on.

Merry Christmas and blessings- xo Diana
