In my blog I plan to chat about nature, crafts, baking, gardening, beekeeping, family, and whatever else seems appropriate at the time. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

I'm back with May stuff! - good grief, I know!

Hey There Hi There Ho There!!!  Peeps!  I'm tellin' ya!  What a "too dang busy" of a summer. You were right Connie of Crafty Home Cottage.  How do I do it all you asked?  I don't!

And  I'm not going to dwell on this on my blog, maybe in real life, but not on my blog, but it's been a rough year.  Starting back in November people have just died and died and died.  I can't count them all anymore.  I've lost track.  I'm serious.  And two more since my Mother In Law and that was only May 26.  Really. can. not. count. them.  I'm still grieving Beth...and my MIL....I need time.....

And I have two friends moving away.  One to Florida, one to southern Indiana, which might as well be Florida.   And geesh why Florida?  What's wrong with Indiana?  (OK - I get it)  But I'm tellin' ya right now, I'm going to cry like a baby when they move.  I'm tearing up thinking about it.  So let's just talk about whadup this summer.

I'm only going to talk about the fun stuff!
And I'm going to say this right up front too....when I get as busy as I've been.  It ain't good.  My Shug said I think being too busy about does you in.  Well he ain't wrong.  But we are still building a house, I still have bees, and it is summer and we have summer time fun around here.  So, back to May.  I know, right!  May?...she can't be serious.  This is July you say.  Well she is serious......May.....
The bachelorette party...
This gang...
plus two more that weren't there yet.....
Red shot glass selfie!
Ashley, Theresa, Vickie, Chris, Me

We went to Michigan City to a casino/hotel and spent the night.  My Sister and I were in charge.  She came up with the games and these signs, and My Shug and I made the "photo booth/jail."

So Mom was flipping through some of the pictures on my phone and she says....
 "What is Ashley eating?"
 'Crap' I think to myself....
"uuummmmm......weeeellllllll........it's a penis cake Mom."  Or four Twinkies and two Ding Dongs if you want to think of it that way.  What can I say, I was in a hurry.  Twinkies, ding dongs, icing, and a few sprinkles.  I probably won't Pinterest the cake!  So Mom says, "well no wonder Vickie is covering her eyes!"
Blogettes it's a bachelorette party, you get a little silly.

These three were bumping the roulette table.

Ok so enough of that fun.....let's move on to the games...tomorrow.....for real though I'll be back tomorrow.  Right now I have honey to extract.

OK really quick...one game....pin the kiss on the man.
See that kiss way over to the left, halfway on the door.  Yup!  That'd be mine!  I'm a loser.
 Sister!  Lawsy!!!
 Chris!!!!!!
I think he got a boo boo on his knee and someone had to kiss it and make it better!  OK gotta run.....I'm extracting honey, honeys!

Bye Bye
Peace y'all

PS - Pop over and see Connie at Crafty Home Cottage for a give away!  It's cool.  I want it for my new laundry room!

PPS - I fixed my computer myself with some aerosol dust removal in a can and a screwdriver thingy.  They told me there would be a $60 diagnostic fee and I'd probably just need a new keyboard.  For this laptop and Windows 8?  I don't think so....I'll take my chances.  I got rough and tough and fixed it!  Crossing fingers.....

  1. Good luck with the computer! Chris took our keyboard apart and I swear there was enough cat fur in there to make a new cat.
