So... I found out I have been leaving comments on your blogs, from my phone, and you all are not getting them! So irritating. And I've been doing it for over a month! I don't sleep well at night, so when I wake up, I read your blogs...and comment. I don't know what the deal is but I will TRY to make sure my comments are visible from now on.
I had these pictures downloaded from the end of October, so I'm going to go ahead and post them, but I can't wait to show you some pictures of where we went this past few days. I'm not a fan of winter...mostly for reasons like today. We are having an ice storm right now. It's been going on all night long.
There will be accidents.
There are power outages.
Power lines are snapping and catching fire.
Schools are closed.
I just hate it.
And I don't like to be cold.
HOWEVER!
I have decided that I'm doing everything I can to enjoy winter this year.
And I'm actually looking forward to it.
(must be the supplements I'm taking!)
And we started our fun this past week.
But for now, you're going to have to settle for a cute animals post.
You know when you go for a walk, and you feel like you're being followed!
Apparently, our feral cat loves our dog sitter! So, when she walks the dog, the cat joins. Well, now when I walk the dog, the cat follows us! We've been feeding this cat since the freezing weather last winter. She doesn't want anything to do with us, which is fine by me, but she does get mad when we don't feed her on her time schedule! She comes up to our door and grabs on and looks inside meowing loudly!
She looks mean here, but it's just a yawn that I happened to capture!
And these animals, all belong to my cousin and his wife! It made me almost want to get farm animals....almost.
The cows are Scottish Highland cows and came from a friend of mine. She was selling them, and I told my cousins wife about them, and they bought them!
Don't you just love them!
"Wait...let me give you my cute face."
"Wait for me....I have a cute face too!"
"Oh dear...come over to the other side of the fence and take our picture!"
"There...how's that!"
Now seriously this one did not get dressed up for the party!
Even worse, but they were having the most fun!
My cousin and his wife raise, butcher, and grow all of their own food. And it's such a surprise to us. They are both career driven professionals, but they love it.
I find it very admirable!
